Fall 2021 litter
Puppies are whelped inside the house in a specially-made box in our spare room. We follow Puppy Culture protocols as much as possible with our litters, to give them the best start on life we can offer. Over approximately the first two weeks, they receive Early Neurological Stimulation, which helps aid their future mental development. As they begin to get more mobile, their access is expanded and they begin to explore the great big world outside and start on solid foods - a mixture of kibble, goat’s milk, and raw meats! Puppies are dewormed at appropriate intervals and receive vaccines at their first vet visit. Raised indoors, they are a little more limited on outdoors time in the winter, but every nice day this litter has had a chance to play in the safe, clean side yard just outside their room. From here they can see any livestock currently on the farm, from sheep to poultry! The puppies receive lots of socialization from friends, future puppy parents, and our family including preschooler and toddler. After temperament testing at 7 weeks, they are ready for home selections to be finalized. We expect this litter to have medium to high drive with good off switches, like both of their parents. They will be suitable to active pet homes or working homes.
